Healing through the Medicine Wheel
is a class that has been forming in my mind for years. The teaching is derived from many
Native American traditions. It is not of any one tradition or teaching. It is my
interpretation and perception of a Personal Medicine Wheel and how it has helped me
and others to heal and understand the worlds we live in. The teachings come from ancient
tribes throughout Mexico, North and South America.
The Medicine Wheel demonstrates the circle of Life and all that goes with it. The East
direction is about illumination, youthful energy and inspiration; it is the time of Spring,
when new life comes forth. The South is the time of Summer and rapid growth; it is a time
to remember our playfulness, to loose our egos and to learn Faith. The West shows us how
to come into our power, to find what is Truth for us, to gain responsibility for our young
and our elders. The North is the place of Winter and our Elders. It is the place of Wisdom
and acceptance, gentleness and laughter.
In this class we will also experience the Above direction; Father Sky and all that dwell
there. The Below direction; connecting with the Earth Mother. And the Now or Within
direction; bringing this all together and integrating it into our being.
Of course this is a Lifetime of practice and work; I'm not suggesting that it isn't. This class
is a framework for students to work with on their personal journeys. It will be a mix of
stories, information, practice, homework, and ceremony. It is a commitment of one
weekend per month for eight months. We will go through the seven directions, one each
month and on the eighth month we will come together to share our stories and celebrate
in gratitude.

The cost is $ 1,600 for all eight weekends. This includes instruction, handouts, ceremony,
and support throughout the length of the class. There will be an online forum for questions
and discussions, suggested homework and activities.

The Importance of You! Building a loving relationship
with self
All of our relationships are a reflection of the one we hold with ourselves.
By healing and honoring the Self within, by becoming our own loving
parents and grandparents, we can change our perspective of Life. In turn,
we can drop judgement, fear, co-dependence and self-centeredness, and
experience all our relationships in a more open and loving way.
When: March 10th from 10:00am to 3:00pm

The 13 Original Clan Mothers: 13 Aspects of Truth
Through the stories of Jamie Sams we will learn the ancient teachings of
the Sisterhood. There will be discussion, information, hands on
experiences and homework to understand and integrate these aspects of
the feminine. Learn, Honor, Accept, See, Hear, Speak, Love, Serve, Live,
Work with, Walk, be Grateful for, and Be, The Truth. This series of
gatherings will offer the opportunity to go within- to fill yourself with all
that you need, so you in turn can walk in love, grace and acceptance. We
each have all we need to be balanced, powerful, and our own best
counsel. Meetings will take place once a month for 13 months. This
intensive will begin in October of 2011 and end in October 2012. Join us
on a journey of Self-discovery and of your own Truth.

Putting the Ritual in Your Spi-ritual
What is the importance of ritual? We practice many, in this country,
honoring birthdays, graduations, weddings, and so on. Rituals have been
kept and handed down for generations. This class will focus on a few
rituals of the spiritual realm, practices of the indigenous Peoples that
kept them close to Spirit and the Earth Mother. Learn simple ways to live
more mindfully and with more gratitude. By practicing rituals on a
regular basis you will deepen your relationship and awareness of the
Spirit and Natural worlds. We will explore why, when and how to do the
following rituals:
Smudging
Building a sacred/ceremonial fire
Making prayer ties
Making gratitude arrows
Making prayer stick (or bundles)
Opening sacred space and closing
Calling in the 7 sacred directions
And we will end with a small ceremonial meal
Honoring Mother Earth and All Our Relations
What does it mean to walk an Earth Centered life?
Come and enjoy an informative afternoon hearing about what it is to
connect and honor our Earth Mother and All Our Relations. Learn how
listening to and watching nature, helps us understand more about
ourselves and our purposes here on Earth. We all are powerful creative
Beings; discover your power, your own inner council (counsel). We will
explore ways of giving thanks, noticing synchronicity, living a more
mindful life and much more.
